He spoke in Romanian for the interpreter alone

Court of First Instance 3, Tudela. Hearing 118/2026, claim for payment. Verbatim transcript, minutes 9 to 13.
[00:09:41] THE JUDGE: —Ask the defendant whether he paid the four October deliveries.
[00:09:48] MS ROLDÁN (Basilia Roldán, sworn Romanian interpreter): [translates]
[00:09:56] MR PÎRVU (Marius Pîrvu, haulier): [in Romanian] —I paid them.
[00:10:02] MS ROLDÁN: —He says he paid them.
[00:10:05] THE JUDGE: —Receipt, delivery note, bank transfer?
[00:10:31] MR PÎRVU: [in Romanian, turning to the interpreter and lowering his voice] —Do not translate this. I am asking you, not the court.
[00:10:39] MS ROLDÁN: —Your Honour, the defendant is asking me not to translate what he is about to say.
[00:10:44] THE JUDGE: —Everything said in this room is translated. Carry on.
[00:11:02] MS ROLDÁN: —He says he paid the fourteen hundred euros in cash, in the yard outside the warehouse, and that he did not ask for a receipt because Sabino Ubiría, the owner of the warehouse, is his daughter's godfather.
[00:11:20] THE JUDGE: —Let it be entered in the record. Does the defendant confirm that statement?
[00:11:26] MR PÎRVU: [in Spanish] —Yes.
[Transcriber's note: the interpreter asks to be replaced. Her Honour refuses and records that the court has only one Romanian interpreter available. The hearing resumes at 11:31.]
